Hey SALTWATERFISH.COM
I was wondering what is fragging and how it works what does it do. Why you do it. And why should you do it.
Thanks

Fragging is essentially cutting pieces off of coral into smaller pieces to grow out. Aquaculture is important in our hobby because it takes the strain off the natural reefs because of coral collection. You might also frag a coral to remove disease. Some corals are also only available through aquaculture do to more stringent collection laws.

Or trade for other corals without having to buy them. I quit buying corals personally and only trade to get new ones now.

look around your local fish store might even know of a local group. the one i belong to has meetings once a month and a website for you to post corals equiptment things of that nature for sale or trade.
You still might have to travel a little ways but still worth checking into!
