Fraging this mushroom

I have had this mushroom for about 7 months and it still has the same 4 heads on it...I have moved it all over the tank up high down low had it laying down standing up and it just won't split. With What and how should I cut it? I would like to place them in others parts of the tank. When I cut it will it come off the rock?

i know with some you can just put a rubberband on them through the middle and the pressure will make them split... then you could cut off the new one and glue it somewhere else... since you only have 4 you might just want to wait until it splits on its own...

Thanks. I think I'll try to rubberband one of them and see what happens.

you can also point a power head right on them. They will move and leave a litttle bit behind, starting a new shroom. you could also just break that rock up and them place them around your tank.
