Frayed Fins

I have a coral beauty dwarf angel who two weeks ago looked like something took a small bite from his back tail fin. Now the tail fin and dorsal are starting to fray (split). Its gets worse daily. Does anyone know whats going on and how to treat. No other fish are bothering it and the fish still seems healthy.
Thank you.

Sounds like tail rot, which if I remember correctly, is a bacterial disease. Try maracyn-2 in your main tank. But read the back first, because I don't recall if it is bad for inverts.

Before thinking it is an infection lets explore a bit.
How long have you had this fish?
What other fish are in the tank?
Any hermit crabs?
How is the fish behaving?
How is the fish eating?
How are your othre fish doing?
I would suggest that you really take a close look at what might be happening with this fish in his environment. Don't rule out harrassment just because you haven't seen it. Unobtrusively, look at the tank for a bit to see what is going on.
Does this fish hide? Does it look sick otherwise? Doe it come up to eat.
Give more details.
