Found a starfish this morning, much to my delight, in my tank. I'm guessing it came as a freebie with my LR since I never bought the little guy....What do I feed it?

Nothing. It will find food enough to keep it going. Have you identified what kind it is yet?

description? Size? how many legs? What color? does it have "thorns"? ...
There's a ton of different kinds of starfish, so please be a little more descriptive if you want some feedback. Thanks!

Sorry, it didn't have any thorns, it was brownish in color and had 5 legs I think. I looked at the little guy got excited and called my husband, went back to look at him and he was gone. He was only about the size of a dime.

Oh, its the little starfish, you probably have few more in there. Was the body a size of a dime, or legs included?

Yeah sounds like brittlestars...usually hitchhikers in LR. No need to feed them directly, they'll just eat whatever is leftover from what your fish eats. They will stick out their legs from within their hiding spots and pick up from the water column.
