fresh seawater for changes

I live in Pensacola FL and am about a 5 min walk from the Gulf of Mexico. I have been entertaining the idea of using some of the ocean water ( collected at chest deep) to perform weekly water changes in my tank. I know there is the possibility of parasitic introduction to the tank, but chemically shouldn't that water be perfect? I took a sample and slapped in beneath my scope and only saw minimal bacteria (no protozoa). So what do you guys think? Should I or shouldn't I?

lots of nasties from storm drains end up in the water at the shore line also possible higher silicate and phosphate levels will mean more nusance algae if you do use it you will have to cover it up " no light" and airate it for several days to keep it from causing a spike in your tank and killing everything. ;)
