freshwater dip & aptaisa

Will a freshwater dip get rid of aptaisa? I have a piece of live rock that is awesome but has aptaisa on it, it's in a tub and not in tank will this work.

ive never done the boiling water attempts.. im afraid it would melt the syrenge i use to shoot them with joes juice

Does your syringe have a needle as well?
If so, pull some calcium into the syringe and inject it into the aptasia. The aptasia literally becomes goo.

Dipping it will kill the rock and everything else on it. Get some kalk and mix it to a paste w/ ro water. Shut off your pumps. Drip the kalk on them if you can't inject them. They suck it up and shrivel to nothing.
