do you guys dip your coral in freshwater b4 you put them into the tank?

I'd suggest an Iodine dip over a freshwater one.

I did a freshwater dip with some eagle eyes before to get rid of some flat worms but thats only because I didnt have an iodine dip. Everything was fine though. Flatworms died and eagle eyes were fine.

I do a Kent's Iodine dip, with the Iodine at 1/3 strength (1 part Iodine, 2 parts tank water), for one minute, then I dip for about 20 seconds or so in fresh water. Works great! Everything opens in less than 30 minutes!
