Freshwater Dip

Hi Again,
Another question,
I have read about giving your new fish a freshwater dip, then putting them in your main tank.
Should this still be done if you have a Q tank, or should I just put new fish in a Q tank for a few weeks, or should I do both?

Hi:
Skip the FW dip. Use a properly set-up quarentine tank and quarentine you fish for a 4-6weeks and ensure they are healthy first.

I wouldn't do the FW dip. In my opinion it seems to stess the fish out, if you have a quarantine tank, use that.
