Freshwater Feeder Fish for Fresh/Saltwater Fish?

I have a Large Eyed Toadfish aka Freshwater Lionfish. Now it would be better to feed frozen foods. But I was wondering that if it can live in Freshwater, wouldnt it be alright to feed it freshwater feeders while its in saltwater? I just had to ask

Sure i would just try and mix up the diet as much as possible.

Hi:
A freshwater lionfish is usually the common name for a saltwater sculpin- are you sure its a toadfish?. These live in brackish water marshes, and can tolerate brackishwater for extended periods. It is born and raisied in saltwater, and as such i would treat it as a sw fish and feed it foods enriched for HUFAs.
I would ween this bad boy onto dead prepare marine foods.
