Freshwater tanks are great!

I decided to put my empty Eclipse 12 to use so I set up a freshwater tank on the minibar counter. It turned out pretty nice. I used the lights, filter, heater, and thermometer from the previouse set-up. All I needed was a piece of driftwood, 2 bags of gravel, and a few fake plants. If you buy the right kind of fake plants (I got marine land) it turns out pretty nice. Today I picked up three neon tetras. They seem happy.
So if you have an extra 10 gallon laying around and need something nice for pretty cheap you should look into freshwater.

I also plan on adding a few more fish and some kind of background.
Here are the three tetras.

Or u can let the fish live and not set up a fresheater tank. For heavens sake, no more fish 4 u, u fish killing machine!

Huh? I use this under the hood filteration thing that came with the tank. It has carbon and a biowheel. The Eclipse tanks are great. There good looking and come with everything but a heater. You can't see the lights or the filter because it is under the hood. The Eclipse 6 gallon is 52 dollars and Im guess around another 50 for evrything else.

That looks good YAE4Volcom
Cartman, freshwater tanks are relatively easy to take care of. That sounds like a pretty good deal at petsmart. But you may want to get a small heater. Just make sure that the temprature stays relatively the same, but if you have slight change, you dont really need to worry. As for fish, you could probably have around 5 maybe 6 fish in the 5-gallon if they were relatively small.
