Just got back, from a trip away...
Thanks for the comments..:)
Reefer44,
Only a few months...(yes, it's cycled etc..)...
Been reading, reading, reading... I imagine some will be trial and error (much to some forum-ites dismay) but I do take advise and try to learn from what I read here..(and weed out the conflicting views, to do the best I can..) I have a few friends that are experienced too... I'm loving it...
The out-of-pocket expense was a bit more than projected, but at this point..it's been worth it.
I went to place this weekend..on my mini-road-trip that "used to be great"...had about 30 SW tanks and a lot of, what looked like frags from stuff they had been growing over time...I'm already picky and knowledgeable enuf to have walked away empty handed (I even brought a Fat wallet)...( NOT to get big-headed) but crappy tanks and half dead corals didn't impress me..
I only have a 29 (thats all we could fit) and at this point, I want to place things correctly, so as they grow they won't crowd/sting each other etc.
I'll always be looking for a better way for what I have, and in my personal opinion I want to run the 29 to the max and learn, and then step up to at least a 200, for the real display item..it will take time...and a new home to house it, but, we are headed that way....
Magic...
You sound as if there might be a problem? he's a neat little guy..promise I wont' glue him to anything...
cheers,
Billb

Many people have reported having a hard time keep flame scallops alive, but some have had success. I believe that is what RM meant. You can do a search for flam scallops if you want to read more. Nice shots though!
