Friend or Foe? Please ID...

It's bleached out a little...well a lot. It doesn't look like aiptasia and I've never seen a bleached majano to compare, but what do YOU think it is???

Welllll, maybe it does look a little like aiptasia, But I'd still like it confirmed by somebody who knows something about softies... I hate to mistakenly kill off something innocent.

There are many, many kinds of aiptasia/glass anemone. I had 2 just like yours. If you spend enough time scouring photos on the net you can find them. They don't seem to spread like the common brown ones we always see. I left them alone and have not seen them since we moved. If I were you I'd just keep an eye on them. If they start making you nervous, then nuk'em.

Here's one pic I did find that looks identicle.
Oh well, you take the good with the bad I guess... Slow rower or bot, it's one thin I do not want, lol. Even if it were a zoa or a paly I would gave it away, but my gut tells me nobogy will want this...
