frog fish and grouper?

im ordering from swf and im wondering how long will a white spotted gruper be able to stay in a 55 im upgrading to a 180 or above in a year or so.... and how long can i keep a frogfish in a 3 gallon or should i just put it in my 12 gallon????

i would just go ahead and put the frogfish in the 12,,, just easier and the grouper if it grows the same as a miniatus it would last about 6 months inthe 55 by itself, my LFS got a miniatus in at about 2 inches, its been about 3 or 4 months and it is now almost 7 inches,, in a 125 with a zebra eel

I just put the frogfish in the 12 now, as far as the grouper goes he will outgrow a 55 in about 6 months there is a chance he will be pretty aggressive in a tank that small

ok so the groupers out of the question...whats a fish that would work for less than $25

oh my bad (i started this thread in fish disscusion too but in this one neglected to mention what i have) i have a 3 gallon with some live rock idk how much though, a 12 gallon with a dominoe damsel, a 55 gallon with a niger trigger and sfe (when the triger gets to big and if it is before i get the 180 i do have a friend to take care of it, just throwin that in there so i dont get bashed)
