Frog spawn

I have a question about the placement of the frog spawn? should it be laid on some live rocks or can it be stood up? :help:

They do ok either way. I prefer to have as many branches as possible pointing upward (toward the lights). But mine is actually on it's side wedged between some LR because of space restraints.
