mine use to follow me outside. I'd roll away from him and he'd chase me. It was cute. I've wanted to get another one, but most of the ones at the pet store are MEAN!! I should never have gotten rid of mine, but my husband was making me feel bad because in the summer I didn't hold him as much. I'd bring him outside now and then, but there's so much to do in the summer and it'a all outside. So I gave him to a cousin who over fed him and he died.

that's a horrible story! i'm sorry to hear that =(!!!! in my experience with the little critters, if they are mean, that's ok. sassy was a little wild to begin with. but we had to work with her to get her to the point she's at now. she use to hate it when we gave her baths and what not, but she loves it now. we upgraded her cage not to long ago and she has had a field day in that thing lol!

yea, I've seen some of the cages they have now, with tunnels big enough for larger critters. I am sooooo tempted. I could connect like 3 cages together with all those tubes, he'd have a whole kingdom.
My husband keeps telling me no more indoor critters though. And he's usually right. I had a pair of chinchillas for 10 years. I really miss them too. It is kinda nice not having to clean indoor cages. (I have a whole mini farm and all my chores are out doors)
But every now and then I think why not...

I am right there with you guys. I had a rabbit named Brownie for like 2 years but it was so destuctive that my mother made me give it away. I always wanted another one. Or maybe a ferret. I had friends that had those and they would run around like cats and play fetch.....so cute!!

I LOVE rabbits. I have a giant flemish name Bo (he's the one in my avitar) He is like 15 lbs and only 7 months old. He is sooo cool. He's like a little dog. I call him and he comes running to me and jumps in my lap. He lives with my wallaby (also pictured in my avitar) so he has a 15'x8' outdoor run and a 6x6 shed for a house.

ferrets are cute. I can't take their smell though. my friend had one and it would steel her car keys and she'd be like 2 hrs late for work. It was sooooo funny hearing her explain why!!!

No, I live in MA and my wallaby came from IL. They are awesome!! I've had him almost 4 years now. He was only a baby when I got him. You need a license in MA and RI. Every other state they have wallaby farms just like for horses or sheep. You can just go get one. There are tons of farms in Texas.

wow, how cool. I have never heard of those in AZ or WA where I have lived most of the time. That is pretty amazing! What is the personality and care like?

He loves ya like a dog, but listens like a cat. He kisses my face and hands like a dog. He likes to wrestle (but he's not alowed to wrestle people. Only other pets and stuffed animals). I had a video of him wrestling my cat, but I can't paste it without opening my whole page (which I don't want to do) I've done it before, if I can figure it out I'll post it)
But he also loves to sit and watch movies with me.

yea, they tell you not to let them box or wrestle you. It might be cute when they are little, not so cute when they weigh 30 lbs. Their hind legs and tail are pure muscle.
but like with any animal, what you put into them is what you get in return. He is a sweetheart.
I brought him to ***** and PetSmart so he would get use to strangers and all different people, not just me. He's real sweet.
