Looks really good... no its not fully extended yet but for being so new to your tank is really comming out, IMO it wont be long.

thanks friend i will keep posting pics i assume the position in the tank is a major factor in it extending fully

Yep, it does... the more light the better and moderate indirect flow or light direct flow they really like.

)? How do you like it and do you have any pics?

Didn't catch it. What type of lighting do you have? I have mine under pc's, placed high in the tank and they are getting huge. When I orginally purchased it, it had three heads. I'm now up to nine and fully extended, its about as big as a grapefruit. Also give it a little flow. When its fully extended, the polyps should wave a bit. Good luck, they are looking good. PS - blastos looking sweet also!!

I had one, but it got really big! 5 large heads and begin to wage war on its neighbors. So I traded it with my lfs for a small 3 heads of yellow/green anchor coral. I've had it in the tank for about 2 mos and 1 head is splitting and the other 2 have begun to branch. Wierd bc I thought they did either or

how much flow did you have with your torch my lfs had them really swinging in the breeze but i read that med flow is best

When it was expanded, it was moving. Not like blowin off the rock moving, but it was getting some flow. I had it placed in the tank where water flow from opposing power heads were meeting and about mid tank. My fspawn and anchor are at the top of the reef now and again, getting a fair amount of flow. I'll try to get some pics up 2morrow.

Careful though. I read up on them too(computer and texts). Under pc's u are going to need to go higher bc of light demand. Just my opinion and having done it. I have mine under pc's also and when I started with my fspawn in the sand bed, in what I thought was good light, they didn't do very good at all. So I moved them up top where the light is more intense and they are going along great now.
