I have a couple little frogspawn babies under the regular heads. I realize they are there for redundancy issues (if the big head gets eaten/damaged).
can i pull them off and attach them to something as a frag and will it grow?
i don't think i could get a pic with my camera, but i'll try.
i would use a sharp razor blade, tweezers might tear the skeleton causing the whole thing to die.

I tried this once and they were so small that I ended up killing them. Try leaving them and some will grow and survive, but some will die due to lack of light.
use a fingernail file to "cut" the little head off. pick the biggest one you can, file very very gently all the way around it if you can, those little heads are extremly delicate because the skeleton is so thin.
i was surprised to see they already have a skeleton and that the razor blade couldn't cut it. i'll have to try the file thing, but i'll probably just leave them alone.
