Frogspawn babies?

I have an nice 4 headed frogspawn. Every once in a while i notice a tiny ball that i know is from the forgspawn floating around. They look like the tip of one of the ends, but really small. They keep their really bright color for days, so i dont think it is dying flesh.
I have an angel that has just started picking at the frogspawn this week, and just now i noticed 2 small pieces floating around, and one piece that had about 8 little balls on it. Are these little pieces that the frogspawn is trying to reproduce with? or are they just pieces falling off. They keep their color for days, until they get lost in the rock work.
Any ideas?

I would guess that is is probably just some of the tentacles falling off/getting nipped by the angel. If there is no skeleton then I do not believe that it can survive. I am not 100% sure on this so you may want to get some other opinions as well.
