Just got home and through the tentacles I can see a bubble....it is close to an inch, and well it looks like a bubble...This is the best pic I could get...as you will notice when I tried to enlarge it got blurry
any ideas

IDK...That's why I asked
...LOL..Right under the bubble it looks like a tiny mouth...is this what they do? This is yet another "NEW" thing for me....I have a branching fs in a diff tank...and one day it just had 2 branches

IDK anything about this one...it's more in a ball shape

Isn't that hammer coral? Mine does that before I get a new branch. It doesn't look sick. How is it tonight?

Hey gypsy lady, you can tell it is a frog by the multiple tips on each tentacle.
Ms. Kitty, yours looks to be okay. Just keep an eye on it for changes, I don't think there is any worry here though.

OK...Thanks...I know there are 2 different types branching...and the other

So maybe this is how the "other" grows

Looked good this morning...could still see some bubble, but the fs is full as can be

Sorry didn't notice that. There are pictures online that are labeled Frog and look like Hammer and visa versa. How can you really tell what you have?

Here I'll just touch on the three most common of the Family Euphylllias, others include Elegance corals, I believe Fox corals, Grape corals, etc.(from wet web)
Euphyllia glabrescens Torch Coral. Branches 1-1 1/2 inches wide with about one inch gap between. Skeletons thin and delicate. Tubular tentacles with rounded tips.

Euphyllia ancora
Hammer or Anchor Coral. Tentacles with anchor, hammer or u-shaped tips.

Euphyllia divisa
Frogspawn Coral. Characterized by tubular tentacles with branchings and knob-like ends

Mine gets bubbles in different parts of the fp. Didn't know what it was. Still don't know. Then it returns to normal. Does anyone know? Its only about 3 months old.
Thanks for any info.

I don't know but I was looking at something about anemones months ago and a lady had a BTA that would fill its tentacles with water and form huge bubbles (yes I realize it was a bta...) Imo it looked stupid, but the thing ate great and was super healthy. Maybe this is just the way your spawn is. It looks healthy to me%%
EDIT: http://www.karensroseanemones.com/myspecialanemone.htm Maybe this is what's up???
