Yesterday my frogspawn looked great. In fact I thought it was the healthiest thing in the tank. Always the first to come out when the light on and the best looking. Today I found him half dead. Well actuall half of him is half dead. Their appears to be two distinct differences. One healthy and one dying. I also recently lost a carpet anenmome. I did a water change less than a week ago. All my water parameters are fine except the alkalinity is a little low it's like 2.0. Any suggestions. I am posting pictures.

Did you get the pics yet? One branch on mine, at times, will not "inflate" as much, but is fine the next day. Is that what you mean?

I keep a rather large one in my reef...normally it will be fully open and extended...but it can react poorly to changes in current or water chemistry. Sometimes it will look a bit off and when it does I'll test water chemistry to insure everything is on track...I seldom have problems with mine...and my water chemistry is normally rock stable...but I have noticed a time or two when PH would be a litle low it"ll look poorly. Other than checking your PH I'd suggest insuring all levels are stable(temp/salinity/ph)...do you check your calcium/alkalinity/magnesium levels on a regular basis...and if so what are current levels? Insure stable water chemistry...moderate current...adaquate lighting...and no predators that could harrass it. Other than those bits of common info....I can't really offer much without specific info on its condition or possible a few pics.
