Hi all!!!
I just got my pink tip frogspwn in the mail today and it didnt look so good. The water it came was cloudy and the frag is all white and there does not appear to have any life left to it. Is it a gonner or will it just take time for it to open like my candycane did?

it could tank time, they can recede back into the skeleton pretty good so it could just take a day or two, then once it does come out you can judge how good it's going to do by how much fleshy area there is before the skeleton. you want an inch or more of fleshy "stalk" type area before the skeleton starts.

Give it some time to adjust, euphyillas retract into their skeletons pretty good when stressed and can look dead even though they aren't.

Smell it you will know. Chances are it was damaged in shipping, there are certain methods to shipping LPS to insure survival and most do not do it right for some reason.

I have purchased from her before and I do not feel there was any error on her behalf. Her packing and shipping was good, even included a heat pack. Maybe it was just my bad luck I dunno

Has nothing to do with the shipping here or anywhere else really, it has to do with shipping practices in general. Anyone with any brains would include a heatpack especially this time of year, so that is neither here nor there. Things get tossed, thrown and hit during the transit. Shipping is very hard on LPS, it's one of the most common means to death in them IMO. In short you can ship an LPS perfectly and still have it getting banged up before you get it home. In all honestness it''s prob not going to recover though.
