Hi Everyone,
I just purchased the sunpod 150 watt MH fixture and wanted to get opinions on bulbs. As people who are familiar with this particular fixture know, there are no supplementary Actinic bulbs. With this being said, what kind of MH bulb would you guys recommend? It comes with a 14K Sunpaq. Also my current lighting is a homemade hood housing 2 96 watt Quad PC lights. Do you think I'm downgrading since I'm going to a lower wattage of total light. I've heard that you really can't compare MH to PC.
My tank is a 30 gal Oceanic cube, with a ton of live rock (I just keep buying it, i can't stop). I have an Aqua C skimmer, and i'm running a Maginum canister and a small home-made HOB fuge (Made out of a wisper filter with some Luxeon LED's) What kind of coral do you think i'll be able to keep with my new lighting setup? currently I have mostly mushrooms and Zoa's.
