From CC to SB

I am about to switch from cc to sb. I read somewhere that I could just buy the sand at Home Depot. Is it the sanitized play sand that they have or should I look for something else. When I get the sand do I have to rinsed to treat in any way?

Do a search for South down sand. You will find a ton of posts. Southdown play sand is what you want if you can find it.

I put a 5" DSB in my 50 gal refugium. I used 150 lbs of southdown, not rinsed.(by recommendation of a thread I posted) Stays cloudy for a while, but no ill effects! I seeded it w/ 20 lbs of LS on top.
