Frozen Food (not quite thawed)

Well - I'm a lazy college student and on occassion I have fed my trigger tank frozen krill, literaly. I didn't have time for it to thaw but still wanted to feed my tank to promote harmony.
Is this bad for the fish or eel? They don't seem to mind and pick at the food as soon as it goes in. Of course, eventually it thaws inside the tank and then they eat the rest but...It doesn't change the temp of my tank at all and its a 30g -- if that might be a concern. What's the deal? (I came up empty on search)

Feeding still frozen food poses no danger to your fish. In my case I let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes then dice it up since I have many tanks and fish to share the food. In feeding one tank you can put it in frozen and the fish will get it soon enough.
