Dual 400w MH ballast w/ 2 SE 400w 10K bulbs and sipder refectors (1small & 1large) $175 shipped.
Will trade the skimmer for one more suited to a 200~250 gallon setup or maybe a Vortech.
I also need a 4 bulb t5 retro setup.
Will post pictures tonight. The skimmer is currently in use in my 150.

yeah, we've decided to start our 55gal and have been looking for lights at a more reasonable price for a while. We want to be able to keep anything in the tank as my husband is wanting to keep corals that require a lot of light. I've been wanting a clam so these will definitely be great for that.

I don't want to hurt a sale, but 2 x 400W mh is probably too much light for a 55.

You're probably right on that. I would only need 1 400w mh at the very most. This is a really good deal though. Someone is going to get these really cheap. Just wish it was me. lol

Would the Metal halides work on a 125 gal. I am wanting to get a setup for my fathers tank so he can have corals.
(1small & 1large) reflectors?

It would have worked fine on a 125. ( I was going to use them over a 150 but went with 250s)
THese lights have however been Sold.
THe S & L refers to the size of the reflectors.
One was a small - 11 x 9 x 5 If I recall correctly
and one a Large - 15 x 11 x 5
