I also posted this in the Classified forum. I have a 8 inch Sohal tang, extremely healthy and eating like a pig. Unfortunatly he is just about too big for my tank. I will NOT ship. So local pick up only or other arrangement. Make me an offer. I will post pictures when I get home from work or you can find his pictures on my thread "New Tangs."

I forgot to add that I need to get rid of this fish A.S.A.P. If he is not gone a week from today I will have to bring him to the lfs. So anyone that can offer him a good home please take him.

i know what there worth but i have no idea what your looking to get for him..i have many fish that are worth more than im asking for them but if you dont have the a person willing to pay that then your stuck taking way less just as i am and still having a problem selling them, im to the point where im going to give them to the petstore for free....then you have to take gas into consideration...anyways ill low ball you just to get an idea what your looking for...30 dollars let me know jason

I am sorry but I will NOT take $30 for him. That is totally out of the question. I would like to get $100 or best offer for him, but I will give or take. Like I said on my other thread in classifieds someone had one for sale 8-9" which mine is at least 8" for $200. If I can't get this on here, I will bring him to work and sell him there.

Listen I am not looking to get $200 for him, I was saying that is what someone was asking on their sohal tang last time I knew anyone was selling one. I think that is totally out of the question. That is why I said make an offer because I know an reasonable price that I can get for him. I am not here to argue w/ you. If you are looking for an arguement please leave my thread. I am only looking to sell this fish a.s.a.p. because he needs a good home other then my tank. I do not have time to waste on arguing w/ you if you are not interested in my fish.
P.S. $30 to me is a slap in the face. If you knew anything about this hobby and what fish from a certain local(in this case the Red Sea) go for you will understand why this is a slap in the face.

You said make an offer with NO indication of what you were looking for. He made an offer. "Im looking for $100obo" and leaving it at that would have been enough.....people need to lay off the coffee....

Actually I know quiet a bit and have been doing it for about 8 or so years...I knew 30 was a slap in the face as you put it...but what I hate is when someone doesn’t put a price trying to get more than what they have in mind...for future reference just put a price and you wont have this problem. Thanks and good luck finding the fish a good home that is the main goal here.

hey Sean as much as i hate to admit it, reeftank is correct. this always seem to happen with the "make me an offer" deals. If people know what they want then say it, otherwise just put it on ---- to the highest bidder!
