fu man choo lion

The lfs I go has a little fu man choo, about 1 inch long. I was thinking of setting up a 56 column to put my dwarf zebra in and was wondering if the 2 would get along. I know the fu is harder to keep, but he has been at the lfs for around 2 weeks and is eating ghost shrimp without problems. I would really like to start a tank with just dwarf lions in it and I am wondering about compatibility of having more than 1 species in it.

How big is your zebra? As long as the fu can't be swallowed by the zebra, you should be okay as far as agression goes. Another concern may be feeding. fu's in general are a bit more shy than zebras, and you might want to take extra steps to be sure the fu gets it's share of the food.

Thanx for the help. The fu currently takes ghost shrimp right out of a net if held in front of him, so I am not to worried about the feeding. My zebra is the same way, though still not willing to take any frozen food I try to sneak in on him.

Forgot to mention, the zebra ia about 2 1/2 inches long so I don't think he can swallow the fu. I just think it would be really cool to have a tank with only dwarf lions in it. How many do you think I could put together in the 56 before I would have any problems?

if you get him, and this also goes for the lion you have now, try to get him off of ghoast shrimp. Even if they dont take to frozen, try to get them to something saltwater. There is a popular online site that sells white shrimp for pretty cheap. They are saltwater shrimp that suposedly reproduce quickly. Your fish will be healthier and live longer.
