5-6 inches at most...but they are one of the lions that are very hard to get to eat...not just frozen food but live food as well...just an FYI...

I get very frustrated searching book after book and each one gives different length for adult Lions. I have also heard from several FMC lions owners that their reluctance to eat is the #1 reason these fish die. I'm not currently planning to purchase any type of Lion, but I would set up a Lion fish tank some time in the near future.
