Fuge Lighting

I have about a 55 gallon fuge under my tank with a shop clamp light and a 100 w 5500k spiral bulb from Home Depot, i ve heard of this working but my cheato does not seem to be growing. i was wondering was this to mch light or what? thanks for any opinoins.

I use a similar light on my fuge and my chaeto grows like crazy so I don't think it is a light issue. Depending on your bioload there may not be enough nutrients available.

so ur saygin maybe not enough nitrates?
