Fuge/scrubber Light

Hi All,
I am battling a bit of GHA. I took my algae scrubber offline a few months ago. I was not growing green hair algae on it, it was more brown/red algae. Well slowly but surely I started to get some GHA growing in the bottom of the rockwork in the low flow areas. My flow is provided by 2 MP40's on reefcrest mode. But I have to dial them back a bit because the sugar fine sand I have blows like crazy (I would have bare glass showing in some areas and up to 5" of sand in others, the sand would constantly be all over the rocks and corals). I am in the process of changing the sand over to a larger grain.
My fuge has a decent size ball of Cheato, and some Caulperla on the rock rubble. I am now getting some large tufts of GHA in my fuge (that I don't mind, I just remove as much by hand each WC, so the nutrients are being exported). I have a plan to cut back on the extra nutrients being introduced into the tank: I will be rinsing food again, cutting back on the lighting schedule of the MH's (I plan on going with some controllable, dimmable Chinese LED's for Xmas).
I want to get my algae scrubber going again, but I don't like the CFL bulbs having to be changed out every three months.
What are some better options for fuge/scrubber lights??
I have searched online and found the "Reef Breeders Fuge-Lite". Here is the description:
LED grow bulb created specifically for growing algae commonly found in refugiums. These bulbs use 10 660nm and 2 450nm LEDs to grow algae from flame algae and cheato, to caulerpa and turf algae at a rapid rate. The bulbs will last for up to 10 years.
The bulb looks like a Par38 bulb with a heavy red tint. Any thoughts?? The are 79 bucks each.

Here are a few pics Shawn.
Anyone here ever hear of Evergrow lighting? I think they are one of the major Chinese companies that make all those d120 LED's on Ebay. They are also now making controllable fixtures that allow you do ramp up the dimmer at half hour to one hour intervals. They also allow you to add different colors. They say all the LED's are the 3 watt Bridgelux or CREE (I am sure they are the older modles of CREE's). Here is a couple of pics of the new Chinese controllable and dimmable fixtures with full spectrum. I believe the model is an it2040.

I like the grow bulb.....Almost called it a Par38 bulb......
It looks promising... And it pretty much is a Par38 bulb with red LED's.
It is the same company that is selling the controllable LED units that I am thinking of buying. I read over on RC that this company will add extra LED's for swap outs or different color combinations for $1.50 per.
Some of the material I have read is talking about needing the UV (410nm???) spectrum for coral growth and the red cyan spectrum. It would be nice to have the exact layout chart for the best coral growth as far as LED color and placement. But it is still pretty early in the game for all this LED stuff to be completely dialed in.

I purchased one as I needed a new refugium light. They look pretty well constructed. I will see how much of a change in growth I get.

I just wanted to send a quick update.
I am getting amazing growth from this light on the macro algae in my refugium. I have to remove the growth every week and a half right now.

Wow. That is great news. Do you have any pics of the new fuge light in action?? What kind of macros are you growing??
