Fuge water supply

Sorry but i didn't know what to call the topic but from my overflow box i have a cheesy ziploc container with some holes drilled in it to help get rid of the bubbles it has a sponge and a filter pad, it works but it looks bad and it tkae a ton of SA for possible macro growth. Attached is the design I would like to make out of plexiglass. Tell me what I should change/suggestions. Thanks

Are you trying to prevent bubbles from going to the fuge? If so it is uneccessary. Put two to 3 baffles 1/4" apart before the return to your tank to get rid of bubbles going to your tank. Bubbles in the fuge wouldnt be a problem as far as I know.

bubbles are only really a problem for some corals when the bubble is trapped in their feeding orifice, so unless you are growing frags in your fuge, or unless it is a cosmetic thing, save yerself the acrylic and time.
