Fuge?

Would it be safe to add some hermit crabs to my fuge for detrious control? Will they cause harm to anything else in my fuge? Currently have a DSB seeded w/ live sand, 10lb lr, chaeto, and some form of red micro algae?

I'd say it'd be fine, based on the fact that whenever people discover a mysterious critter in their tank people always suggest they put it in their fuge until they figure out what it is. But I'd wait for a few more opions to confirm.
