Full Size Angel and Dwarf in the Same Tank?

I will be upgrading to a 150 gallon tank soon, and am thinking of stocking options as we speak. It's going to be FOWLR and I am wondering if it can support a full size angel and a dwarf together. I've only heard don't keep a dwarf with another dwarf, and don't keep a large angel w/ other large angels. Is it possible or does anyone have any experience keeping one large angel and one dwarf in the same tank? I am considering Queen, French, or Koran for large; Eibli or Flame for dwarf. Thanks!

It could work, but for the large angels you listed I wouldn't put them in a tank smaller than 180g! All three of the Large angels you mentioned can grow to 15"! A fish that size would max out your carrying capacity by itself!

I have sucsesfully kept a number of angels together in my 130for more than a couple years now..
My coralbeauty and flame have been in there with an emperor with no problems.I even had a Flagfin added to the mix for awhile, but the flag was to hyper for my taste.
As for an angel outgrowing the tank,,Maybe in five or six years. My emperor is at least three years old(just starting to change) and still is under six inches....

jwtrojan,
You must have read my mind, because I was about to ask what order anyone would suggest placing these fish in the tank. I have always been fascinated by the transformation that the large angels make, and definately want to raise one starting as a juvenile. Also, the Passer is another angel I am looking at.

Thanks for all the advice. I will definately take everything into consideration. Aquiring and raising a large angel is a long term goal of this hobby for me. I won't have the tank set up until the end of Nov, and I was thinking about placing the angel in about 8-12 mos. after that. Like Overanalyzer, I just like to really think out my stocking plans so that I don't end up in trouble down the road.

Well, I've got a 29gal set up right now w/ a false perc, a royal gramma, and various mobile inverts (hermits, snails, peppermint shrimp, and a cbs). I will move everything over to the 150, where it will be a FOWLR with a few mobile inverts. I am also thinking of a shoal of green chromis and possibly a longnose butterfly and/or a kole or chevron tang. I'm still questioning the large angel, but I will definately have a dwarf angel of some sort. Thanks!
