funky dogface puffer

one day, while looking in my tank, I noticed that my dogface puffer had curled his tail and had tucked it inside of his gill...he does this now at least once a week. Anyone know anything about this or have heard anything like this?

Although I have not seen them put thier tail in the gill,Curling the tail is perfectly normal behavior for them.

Yes Puffers do curl their tails a lot and even swim that way sometimes. The fact it can put it in its gill just gives you a exceptional agile Puffer.
