Hi guys, I plan to have a reef tank, though right now all I have is Xenia and Kenya Tree, not quite sure where it came from, but its there.
Currently stocked with
True Percula x2
Yellow Watchman Goby
Emerald Crab x1
Blue Legged Hermit Crabs
Assorted Snails
I've read conflicting information on Foxface Fish, are they reef safe or not? Some places say they will eat coral and inverts while others say they are completely compatible. Has anyone had issues with them?

I have had five different juvis in my tank. Never had a problem. Bought them small to control Caulerpa and returned them when they got bigger. They never touched a coral. But they ate the bejeesus out out the algae!!!!
But that is just my experience with them.

I have LPS and softies in my tank. My 'Face has never gone near them. From what I've read, rabbitfish MAY start looking at corals if they aren't getting enough veggies in their diet. If you have algae in the tank, you're fine.....otherwise, supplement with nori.
I got mine as a supplemental helper for the tank. I had a major turf algae issue (red hairy filamentous algae, really persistent stuff) and I needed someone to keep it mown while I worked on eliminating the root causes. I'm happy to say the foxface went to town on the stuff! My algae problem is slowly going away, but I don't think it would have been as fast w/o the foxface in there.
