Fish Flakes!!!! I have no idea why, but he actually chomps down on them? I do feed him his normal krill, crabs, shrimp and octopus delight, but fish flakes? Anyone else had this strange experience?

lol, well just got mine, but haven't seen her eating flakes. So I would say you are lucky, good source of vitamins.

I had a young Volitan years ago that would eat algae flakes off the surface! I think lions learn very early on that seeing you means food. I think the one I have now would eat a Brussels sprout, if I gave it to him.

My lionfish would eat anything I put in the tank. Try some cocktail shrimp. I cut some up that I got from wal-mart and put some garlic on it and they went crazy over it.

That is good that he is accepting what you feed him. Don't be surprised if his feelings toward flakes change though.
