Ok,
So i just purchased a fuzzy dwarf lion fish today...
I have talked to that "murph" guy and he said they are perfectly fine in a reef environment...
My problem is, is that i have a very small blue hippo, about 1 inch...
The dwarf is small to... but will it eat him, and maybe my male clown?
what are the percautions i might need to take?

A lion can eat 1/2 it's body size, if the other fish are smaller, there is always a risk. Anytime you keep smaller fish with lions, there is a chance it may get eaten.
I ended up with one of my dwarf lions this way a few years ago, they kept it in their reef over a year and one day they came home and all the fish were gone. Some dwarfs never eat the other fish, But, there is no guarantee.

hah that's funny, i got 2 fuzzy's in my reef tank and neither has eaten my one inch clown or my 6line wrasse that is maybe an inch and a half. the one fuzzy is full grown and the other is a juvy. they have all been in the tank with eachother for a year except the juvy fuzzy which was only 6 months.
