Fuzzy Mushroom question

I have had a fuzzy mushroom for about 2 months now. I was wondering what experience other folks have had with theirs to tell when it is happy. When I see them at the LFS they basically are all laying down flat against the rock almost. Mine has only done that once I think. Most of the time the stock is up about 2 inches and then the head folds out. I changed to MH lights about 3 weeks ago and it hasnt changed at all so the lights dont seem to make any difference. On a side note - my frogspawn has grown quite a bit since adding the new lights.

No, I dont feed it anything. Do fuzzy mushrooms need to be fed? I was under the impression they were a filter feeder.

You should feed your whole tank cyclopeeze etc. When you put it in the water you can see all these little mouths open. and some shrooms like meatier foods occasionally. I give my larger shrooms hunks of food, they close up on it. Sometimes it takes afew mins, so you have to be patiant. They open so nice and full after eating.
