fuzzy stuff on clown

I noticed tonight on my tomatoe clown, white fuzzy stuff on parts of its body and one of its fins. It doesn't look like ich, it isn't grainy looking and is bigger than salt. Does anyone have any ideas? It is in my 200 gallon reef tank. What to do? I haven't noticed it earlier this week.

How long have you had the clown? You just had a sick mandarian resently didn't you?
Where is the "fuzz"? Does it look cottony? Is it protruding off the fish's body? How is the fish behaving otherwise?

The weird thing is, the next day the white stuff was gone. I have a sand bed and I'm wondering if it had sand on it body. Then was the problem with the mandarin. Is this possible? It is still gone from the clown.

Possibly a speck of sand. Keep an eye on it.
