fw dips

hey everyone,
i have a quick question. i have about 3 lbs of lr that is covered in these rather large pods. i think its fair to say they are isopods.
either way, i want to totally kill everything on the rock before it goes into my display tank.
are there any invert, such as isopods that will with stand a fw dip? i plan on dipping my live rock and letting it sit for maybe 10-15 mintues just to kill off everything.
i assume it will work, but want to make sure i wont miss anything tucked away in a little hole.
-thanks

Why would you want to do that??
Isopods are good. If you don't want the life on the rock, why use liverock? You should go a dry rock. Is there a reason, some pest you suspect? For all the corals I buy I do a flatworm exit dip, I have had an infestation in the past and don't want to go through that again.

copepods are good. isopods are not.
isopods.. you are more likely to get a bad one that you are a good one. i don't want to ID them and dont want to take chances of an infestation in my tank when i have spent a coule thousand dollars to get it the way i want.
i had a 3 pico and i am taking it apart. i left the tank sit for a while with no filters or lights and i turned on the light and i see ISOPODS.. i have seen copepods and can tell the difference. i havent seen anything like these huge isopods b4.
