Fw into Sw?!?!

here's the thing i want to take FW blackfin sharks and put them into Sw
I already know it's possible I just what to know how to do it and the risks(if there are any)
any info would be helpful

i personally wouldnt because freshwater pollute your tank with so much nitrates with their detirius

What kind of fish are we talking about here? Silver tipped AKA columbian sharks? If that is the fish then you have to start them in a fresh or brackish water tank and VERY SLOWLY raise the SG. Raise it by a point or two each week. It takes a few months or more to get them into full saltwater. Here is a pic to see if we are talking about the same fish.
