fw pop eye

hello
as some of you may know or dont know i have a fw fish with pop eye
i have melafix and am willing to treat,
i just would liek to know if it is safe to treat in the main tank with all these other fish in there or shoudl i just set up a 5 gal qt for the 1 week treatment?
its a 2$ tetra lol a black skirt with 2 pop eyes, they are all blacked over and they have pop eye so whats your thoghts

Melafix is perfectly safe for freshwater display tanks. Have you found out WHY this fish has popeye yet? Have you tested your water levels??

double negative, nothing os bothering it yet. i did a water change today since i couldnt test the levels.

so it is safe for it to go in with all my fish at once? and i dont need to use tht 12 gal for a fw fish?

Before you do anything, I would DEFINITELY check your water parameters and make sure everything is where it should be.

b4 i?..... use a treatment of b4 i?...
io would assume the treatment but will have lfs check them
