Thats awesome! How big are their whale sharks? Are they full grown?
I dont believe they are full grown. I remember the tour guide saying that Japan had a larger one... I think the largest one in GA was 25 feet.

Glad you liked it. I went there last year and though it was awsome. Took the behind the scenes tour too.
Their website said they added alligators. I know they're in River Scout, but where did they put them?

Whenever I'm about to start complaining about UPS overnight shipping rates for frags, I'm gonna look at the picture of the crate you have on this thread. It may help put things into perspective, lol.

Thanks for putting these up, by the way. I have a documentary about the Georgia Aquarium saved on my Tivo that I watch about once a week. It's good to find a new way to get my fix until I can go see it for myself.

Aside from the monstrous multi-million gallon tank, what were your favorite displays?

You've gotta have more pics than this. I wanna see more reef.

Ill tell ya, I was VERY dissapointed in the "REEF" set-up. It was a nice fish tank..BUT there was like nothing exciting (corals ) in the set-up. My wife even said "wheres all the corals?? Scheesh,YOUR tank looks better than this one." Most of the stuff they did have was very easy "beginner corals" for the most part. And 50% were fakes....they are working on going to 100% real corals sometime in the future...but after seeing there AWESOME (NOT) frag tank,I highly doubt it.
I will see if I can dig up some more pics of the reef. I know I took a pic of the frag tank, the lighting above the reef.

Well it's a big tank to fill so hopefully in a few years it all starts to fill in.
I don't know if you saw my question earlier, but where are the new alligators?
