Dang, wouldnt you know it i had a carpet in my tank for about 2 weeks now and i left the ro/di water on over night
I have a seperate line running from my ro/di unit upstairs down to the fishtank with a valve on the end. I open up the valve for about a hour or 2 to fill up my sump but this time i went to bed and forgot to turn it off. When i woke up there was water all over the fish room floor, because i flooded the sump.
This in turn lowered the salinity from 1.026 down to 1.022 from the influx of fresh water and now my carpet has the dreaded white film all over the edges of it which is a sign of disentigration
Dam my stupid self DAM!
