garlic

I hear everyone talking about garlic and its benefits for the fish as an immune system builder. I am confused, I have seen some foods on the market that have low levels of garlic but they are not typically the types of foods that my fish like. Question is, when soaking food in garlic, how is the garlic prepared, and what amount of garlic per feeding do you all find most useful. I currently soak the frozen foods in selcon three times a week but was wondering if garlic would help my fish stay healthy as well.
