Gasping Blue Damsel

Need more ideas on what's going on~
My husband Brian's first tank, 15g, with 2 yellow tip damsels, has been running for a week. I used cycled LS from my tank and added LR too.
I just came down 20 minutes ago and found one laying on the sand bed breathing hard.
I tested all levels, everything is perfect. Salinity is 1.021. The only other thing I could think of is that the basement gets cooler at night, but the heater should be able to handle that. The tanks' current temp is 74.
I changed out the filter floss and added new carbon, and put a air pump line into the tank.
Any ideas what is going on?

If the damsal has no marks on him, what is the actual color of the flesh under the gill, I mean is it not the normal pink like color?

Both of them are hiding right now. The one that's visible I can't see the under side of the gills. I don't think it's gill flukes. I'd have to remove both of them to get a better look. I'm considering pulling both of them out tonight at 9pm to do a better diagnosis. Now that the tank is clean up I did see some very tiny thin white strips of slime dangling off the fins. Didn't look like ick though.

Are they worms? Your looking at them. If you want to post close pics then I will be happy to look as well.
Did this rock come out of your seahorse tank?

All of my LR and LS have been sterilized beyond sterilized. I've been reseeding them from cultured pods. The DS had returned to LS when I put everything into storage when my pony tank crashed(bad salinity
)
I'll post some pics once I get kiddo off to school and some coffee into me.
