I dont know much of anything about anemones and so I just have a couple quick general questions about them. First of all do anemones move around in the aquarium or is where you put them where they stay? And also should enemones not be mixed with corals or can you mix them together (yes i know its a vague question, but im just talking in general)? And lastly I hear that enemones will sting you if you touch them so I was wondering how you are supposed to put them where you want them in the aquarium if they will sting you?

Not all anemones move around the tank, usually only unhappy ones! I curently have 4 anemones in 3 tanks and most of them haven't moved since I got them (my Carpet Anemone will ocasionally move 2 -3 incehs back and forth). Anemones usually find a spot with favorable flow, light and terrain and set up camp. As long as they are happy there they usually don't move. If you have bad water, not enough light or they are not being feed etc, then your anemone may move around a lot stinging all corals in it's path. I have corals in every tank that has an anemone it it with no problems but some will tell you that unless you are sure you can provided great conditions for the anemone not to put them in a coral tank because you could potentially loose corals. As far as stings anemones and many corals can sting you so you should wear rubber gloves when handling them for your protection and the anemone's as well.
If you are considering an anemone read this:
