I have just gotten a 20 g up and running and my wife insists that I put in this fake rubby coral peice that is died pink. Gee looks real, real with 25 lbs of live rock....ya right! Wife says do it and she just bout me lights so....... It was bought in the LFS and they said all would be ok? I do notice that when snails camp on it, the color is faded. Is it leaching and toxic?

When acclimating corals and inverts, I understand the drip process but how do you keep the temp in the bucket? My tank is at 78 and room is around 68-70. Is that an issue or just worry about the water?
