I normally don't promote vendors, but I think this is an excellent time to do so. The promotional sale will begin tomorrow (June 29) and will last for two weeks. This is a great opportunity for those interested in getting started in the hobby, or those with small tanks looking to go larger. The all glass 10G, 20G, 29G, 40G, and 55G tanks are priced $1 per gallon. I took advantage of not long ago, and I'm glad I did. Out of respect, I won't mention the name of the vendor... but there's one within driving distance from where you live. It's also where the pets go. Here's a picture of the 40B I bought, and the stand and canopy I built. Total cost of tank, building materials, glass hole saw, bulkheads, and plumbing parts was $300. Lights, sand, rocks, etc. were extra. All in all, a heck of a deal...

I love those deals...it's how I got my 90g with stand and canopy for $400.00. If I were handy and could make my own stand and canopy... it be lots cheaper. Good job...

I have to say that stand turned out nice. I'm having to be pretty creative making a four cornered canopy work on a bow front tank. Lol
Haven't been working on it much this last week. Been pulling 10 to 14hr shifts the last seven days. One more day tomorrow and I hope I get a break. Been shuttling the Cirque Due Soleil troupe around Chicago all week.

I'm sure you'll get it worked out.
Dude, you get to enjoy the show AND get paid? Wow...
