Get Rid of Copper

Would I be able to wash out copper from ceramic rings?
I want to transport my ceramic rings from my DT to my HT/QT for easy transferance of the bacteria. However when I am done, I would like to transfer the ceramic back to the DT tank. If I have treated the HT with copper, can I get rid of it by rinsing them or boiling them? Is my plan faulty?

+1, youll never get all the copper out. if you want something for bacteria to colonize on, you could just toss some filter pads in your DT sump, and then move one to the QT whenever you need to, and then toss it. thats what i did before i had a permanent QT.
